Jeantet Arbois
Really nice freehand pipe, very comfortable.
Pipe in very good condition and was cleaned, polished and prepared for smoking. No problem with using!
Firm started at St Claude, France in 1816 by the Jeantet family and transformed into a corporation in 1938. At the beginning, the company worked cherry wood and was specialized in the manufacturing of pipe stems. Over the years, the factory started to create pipes made with briar roots. Jeantet pipes offer a very pleasant smoking experience since the briar used for these models has been dried for a long period of time. Almost all the pipes are equipped with an ebonite stem and a metal filter. Jeantet pipes often have a straight shape, and they are always at a very interesting price for pipe smokers..The St Claude factory was modernized in 1950 and reached its climax of pipe production around 1969. The firm was merged with Chacom around 1988 and Jeantet seized to exist as a brand name.
